Surrett is Pastor Emeritus of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and serves as Academic Dean and Bible faculty member at Ambassador Baptist College of Lattimore, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and holds three degrees, including the Doctor of Ministries, from Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
