Margaret T. Monro was an English author of the twentieth century. She originally published her biography on St. Margaret Clitherow: "The Pearl of York"in 1946 through Burns Oates and Washbourne, London. Upon publication, it received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from Reginald Philips, S.T.L. and E. Morrogh Bernard, respectively. Margaret Monro wrote the saint's story in a concise and informative manner, detailing St. Margaret's remarkable life, marriage, motherhood and personality. The work was retypeset and republished in 2003 by TAN."
