About the Author
María Luisa Velasco Campos es maestra normalista y psicóloga clínica. Llevó a cabo la licenciatura y la especialidad en Terapia Familiar en la Universidad Iberoamericana, y cursó tanto la maestría como el doctorado en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Ha trabajado como psicóloga invitada en el Hospital Johns Hopkins, en Baltimore, y en el Departamento de Higiene Mental del Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez.

María Luisa Velasco Campos is a teacher and clinical psychologist. She completed her bachelor's degree and specialty in Family Therapy at the Universidad Iberoamericana, and completed both her master's and doctorate degrees at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She has worked as a guest psychologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and in the Department of Mental Hygiene at the Federico Gómez Children's Hospital of Mexico.
